Laser Imprints was started in 2004 as a hobby with a small  24” plotter and a computer. A lot of spare time  went into learning the software and materials  for what turned out to be a full time business. In early 2005 we purchased a CO2 Laser System for Engraving and Cutting.  This system allowed us to steadily build our customer base along with the vinyl cutting. It wasn’t very long before we were asked to do some large signs for local companies, a very time consuming operation with the small plotter and a full time job. We sold the 24” plotter and upgraded to a 48” plotter thus enabling full 4 x 8 foot graphics to be produced in one piece. We continued with this equipment until 2007 when we looked into what was available to expand our horizons and make Laser Imprints more convenient for our customers. We added a embroidery machine to our arsenal of equipment.

In 2008 a heart attack slowed the business down for a while and we were told by the doctor to remove the stress of the main job, so in the fall of 2008 Laser Imprints became the main focus. It sure is nice to do something every day that you enjoy doing every day! In early 2009 we took a look around the industry and realized it was time to keep up or get out. We bought our first vinyl printer a used 30” model along with its sister plotter again a 30” model. It did not take long to realize  30” was too small for printing and not a lot of materials were readily available. Sell and move on. In 2010 we purchased our 54” Printer Plotter, our 55” Laminator and a used Rotary Engraving System   and we are not looking back!
